How to use it

Limitations

  • Scanned image-only PDFs require OCR, which is not included in this phase.

Why is the output empty for my PDF?

Some PDFs are scanned images with no text layer. This tool can only extract text from PDFs that contain actual text (not scanned images). OCR is not included.

Does it preserve formatting?

Basic paragraph structure is preserved, but complex layouts (columns, tables, headers/footers) may not extract in reading order.
